I purchased some caviar (ok technically it was substitute since it was trout) some months ago and everyone keeps saying it’s salty. No, not really. In fact I quite enjoyed it, the only issue was all my crackers went stale so I had to use matzah which for whatever reason never seems to go stale regardless of how long it has been made.
Will definitely have more once I get proper non-matzah crackers!

I had some elk sausage bites which I bought in Savannah. I understand why people would enjoy it. But not sure I liked the spicing they put on it. It was very tender though.

I went down to Savannah and surprisingly found some weird meats which I purchased including an Alpaca summer sausage type thing. I am not sure if I was not keen because of the spices or the meat. No matter, it apparently wasn’t a kosher animal so I feel bad about that anyway (apparently they don’t have split hooves?) Live and learn.

I went back home to Florida last year and my family are not adventurous eaters although they call me the picky one. Um… no. I am picky because I can’t have a few things due to allergies or religious reasons but I am very interested in trying different cultural cuisine. I doordashed a place I knew no one would like with my kid. She had octopus and I had veal heart. It was probably seared a little too long but otherwise it wasn’t horrible.
