UNESCO – Grand Canyon

I was planning to updated my UNESCO sites but found out I missed labeling it for Everglades so I went back and tagged it appropriately.

I did go back through the list and I didn’t see that I had discussed the Grand Canyon as an UNCESCO site. Maybe it is in other posts but I don’t know.

On my parents various travels they enjoyed going to places of historical or natural interest. They claim I asked them to go wherever Coyote and Roadrunner lived which of course is the Grand Canyon or similar so we went there.

Honestly, all I remember is a single metal bar which served as the fence along the edge. That was not really a deterrent since I was so short I was smaller than the fence. I was warned to be careful since it was a drop. Yes… yes it was. It was a giant long hole that went on forever it seemed. I am pretty sure my eyes did the bit where the bottom gets bigger and then shrinks zoom in and out bit.

I was freaked out. And that is pretty much what I remember.
