I have served on the board of directors of Georgia Mufon as Executive Director. I was also going to be on the board of director for another one that did not work out.

Definitely not worth the place at number 2. I wouldn’t even place this in the top 50, maybe even not the top 100.
There was not much actual story in this. Left much to be desired. Why is this ranked so high?

I really really hate these type of vampire movies. I hate apocalypse movies of all forms. Now we also have vampire dogs.

This is rather bloody. I have a question… why do pure blooded vampires age??
Everyone knows this movie and I definitely think the original is better than the remake which was even more unbelievable than the OG. Generally a standard teen movie. The graphics were pretty decent for 1985, but that part doesn’t hold up super well. These teen movies always make me angry because no one believes the kid.
This is a Hammer Dracula film literally without Dracula. I’ve seen it before and I am really never impressed by it. I think this is one of the worst of the Hammer films. Christopher Lee makes the series, not a half deranged vampire who was kept locked up by his mother.

Sequel to Dracula 2000, this was direct to video. The vampire does not even look the same. I did love the priest who was obviously Asian since that’s not something you see very often.

Well that was dumb. I am so far not surprised. It was ranked 149.
Fewer films than last year for the AJFF. Not quite 600 is what we were told as far as films. I ended up on the guest selection committee which is something I know even less about than films. Come on now.

Well, I was sent a message Oct 17 that I was chosen to be part of an excusive group in reddit. No more than 100 people at a time, kinda weird. I would say what it is but they have this weird “fight club” like mentality and won’t let us say where what we joined. I guess that just means I was in a secret society too.
So far not terribly impressed.

I was not expecting to go there so soon, but I had not eaten in nearly 24 hours. I found a Nigerian place. This was one of the sides. I was not a fan, it was very tough to eat, I understand the anatomy behind it though.

My goals right now are actually going to be to do some of the vampire movies and any of the spooky stuff I can do when I am spending far too much time in Florida since apparently I am going to be stuck here whether I want to be or not.
I’m mostly trying to I guess eat different foods but that is hard as my mother does not like most foods I want to try.
I had some elk sausage bites which I bought in Savannah. I understand why people would enjoy it. But not sure I liked the spicing they put on it. It was very tender though.

So the majority of speakeasies now are still of the “hidden” type like they were in the 1920s which is really what I was expecting when I was saying drink at a speakeasy, but trying to get into some of these places (either knowing the password or finding out where to go) has proven to be nearly impossible. However, when my daughter was here last she asked to go to the Prohibition Museum in Savannah and apparently there is a *built in* speakeasy and part of the museum was designed so it would look hidden (including a video of a lady beckoning you to come over for and indicating there was hidden alcohol) but if you went around you had to go through the speakeasy to get out lol. I had my one little drink a Chatham Punch. Probably should have had something else, but I am glad I tried it!

I went down to Savannah and surprisingly found some weird meats which I purchased including an Alpaca summer sausage type thing. I am not sure if I was not keen because of the spices or the meat. No matter, it apparently wasn’t a kosher animal so I feel bad about that anyway (apparently they don’t have split hooves?) Live and learn.

With the passing of my dog, we had a lot of organ meat which I had purchased for him to get him to eat more. One of those was a bunch of beef kidneys. My spouse made a Turkish dish from a recipe from Youtube and it was excellent! Not kosher (due to the meat as it’s a royal pain to make that kosher), but was still excellent.
